LPＭ (Linear Position Measurement)
The Brant Hydraulics Linear Position Measurement (LPM) system consists of a specialized sensor and a rod with a unique profile beneath the coating surface. The sensor contains two magnetic strength transducers that detect the rod profile through the coating. As the rod moves in either direction, the transducers generate incremental block signals, which are processed by a counter.
Each transducer in the sensor produces a block signal, and the combination of both signals creates a 90° shifted block-patterned signal. This signal can be interpreted by standard reading units and counters, as it resembles the output of an incremental rotary or pulse encoder.
